The teaching points and suggestions are very good. Although the songs are not all suitable for my small choir, I can use a sufficient number of them to make it a practical purchase
Some of the pieces are not what I would choose to perform.

Brilliant ideas to plan how to teach teach the song.
Far too many songs that feature religion. I do not run a church choir and I cannot use any of those songs. I realise that it is a gospel book too, but it seems that this aspect features too much. A lot of money for just a few songs I can use.

Good arrangements but realistically could only use a few of these with typical school vocal groups.

For those of you with mixed ability community choirs this book is the best investment you can make and more of these books please Voiceworks team .. If there were a 6 star category you would get it ! Grenville Jones - choir leader Bath

Wide variety of songs, but few were suitable for a choir of middle aged ladies. Quite expensive for the two or three songs I could use.
