This is a lovely piece of music, well arranged by the composer for SATB choirs. It gives all parts the chance to sing the melody at some point. It is suitable for a good many occasions, particularly fund-raising events.

love part singing
Simple basic tune Interesting variations of partsI
Not a bad point but worth noting that you need a good accompanist to deal with numerous key changes

Yet another wonderful piece for choirs by John Rutter.
Our choir have had the pleasure of two oneday workshops with him and it really is a great experience. His music is not the easiest to sing but the harmonies and part singing are wonderful. This piece would raise the spirits of many sick people and fulfills its intention. Anonymous

Written at the invitation of Cancer Research UK in 2007, this is a evocative and uplifting song with a message of hope. Suitable both for church services and in concert. It is straight forward but is demanding for choirs to sing with feeling, making use of the words and dynamics to their full extent. A very useful addition to a repertoire from weddings to funerals.
