The cartoon theme is great for motivating beginners. The ontroduction of new material is well paced and there is plenty of extension work in the notes sections.
I would have introduced quavers in this book, but most beginner books don't do this.

Perfect for younger students who can progress quickly through the series. Each has a fantastically structured and easily manageable set of pieces with accompanying theory, and comes with a certificate at the end - most of my students still have them framed next to their Grade exams! The Special Edition includes warm up and sight reading pages. My favourite teaching resource.

I think it's been laid out wonderfully, really been thought about. It's not only understandable for children but I also like the fact that the tutor notes are with each piece of work, not just a huge amount at the front or back of the book. Def a great buy for the money. Thank you

This book is great for young beginners. I teach Piano and have found that it is excellent at helping children not only to learn the notes etc, but also at how to sight-read efficiently. The tunes can occasionally be slightly boring and it may have been wise to include a few nursery rhymes or some sort of recognisable tune, but overall I would say it is the best book out there for teaching young children how to play the Piano (and believe me, I have used a lot of books!)

I think this book is the best I have found for beginners to the piano. It is clear and bright and progresses at the right pace for children to learn.
