This is OK for intermediate but not great for professionals. It gives you an idea of the orchestral part without the piano part, but the orchestra often rush and they are not so reliable. In order to fit with them, you would have to adjust accordingly. A little strange....The Practice tempo is actually the average performance tempo in most parts, then fluctuates to very slow in random parts, e.g. when one instrument has a solo or something. Was there no conductor for these recordings??!!
I still think this is a useful practice tool, but only once you have the concerto prepared at speed and are ready to play it. You have to be so flexible with your own part in order to fit with this orchestra, and they are not so reliable, like I said.
Still somewhat recommended, although with "a pinch of salt".
