Franz Krommer: Concerto For Clarinet In E Flat Op.36

Books | Clarinet, Piano Accompaniment

Catalogue No: H888
Composer: Franz Krommer
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album
The composer is known chiefly for his compositions for wind instruments, Concerto in E flat major for Clarinet and Orchestra, Op.36, being one such example. The piece was written in 1803 and is exceptional for its superb instrumental setting and formal balance. Without exaggeration, Kramar's concerto is described as the most performed clarinet concerto in the Czech repertoire. The piano reduction was written by composer Ladislav Simon, and the solo part was revised by prof. Jiri Kratochvil. (ed. Jan Racek). This practical edition is part of the Musica Antiqua Bohemica series.

Having been let down by my local music shop (only being told 2 weeks after I had ordered it that it was out of stock with the supplier) I didn't approach musicroom with much hope. I'm very pleased to say that my order arrived in less than a week. Thank you and well done!
