I made my students answer all questions from Josephine Koh's Practice in Music theory before attempting past year theory papers. It gave them much more confident and they always end up getting distinction in exam.

Edinburgh, UK GB Piano & Theory teacher.
Far more logically set out & in a clearer progressive order than the abrsm work- books, and with far more exercises to work through. To explain new subjects, e.g. Alto clef, Duplets, there are no long essays, just simple, brief sentences with samples.
Because the book is fatter & heavier, the price is higher than the abrsm's, but it is worth paying extra for.
Some UMLAUTS missing from the list of German terms.

Excellent book for revision of theory materials. A friendlier layout with more exercises than the ABRSM Theory in Practice books.
