plenty of exercises on each topic
for ease of marking could do with answer books for the whole set of levels. I've had to buy an extra book to make my own answer book for each level rather than working out answers each time!

This is a great follow-on from the Grade 1 and explains theory in a way people can understand easily and quickly.

It's good for re-inforcing the concepts in the ABRSM theory books. So I use it for students not yet ready to go on to the next grade. There are lots of examples on each topic. The layout could be better and it could be more colourful for young people.

This is a great theory book, linked to the ABRSM theory syllabus, but with many more examples and practise questions. A very thorough approach, and clear explanations throughout. Very useful for students who don't grasp the theory elements easily.
