My child has no problem playing the pieces. I personally don't know much about music, but his music teacher says that he's doing well

A reasonable collection of pieces - grade 2/3 standard. Useful as a back to work in progress towards examinations. Don't expect every piece to be a winner.

I have purchased several of the Classics to Moderns books as my piano teacher recommended them. They have helped me enormously with my sight reading and the variety of music is excellent. In my opinion this book is an excellent purchase.

This is a very good series with the pieces well graded and a wide range of repertoire. Highly recommended.

I love this series, as do my child and adult pupils. All the pieces are originals so it gives pupils the opportunity even at grade one to play unsimplified pieces by great composers.

A good step on from Book One with helpful fingering but my criticism would be that there is not enough variety in the mood of the pieces. Lots of bright chirpy little pieces - a few more reflective ones would be nice
