Indeed this book offers some of Deep Purple's greatest hits, but I was actually hoping for some other songs instead. The tablature is very clear, except for some strange hammer-ons that I just couldn't play the right way.
Most of the riffs are easy to follow, but I have to say that the solo's are out of this world, even with the help of the included cd it's hard to play most of the solos. I also had some difficulties simulating the Ritchie Blackmore sound (maybe it would work if I had the exact same equipment as he did). If you're a Purple fan,you can buy this book, cause this there's always something in here you'll like and it helps you develop.
But don't buy this book if you're just a beginner guitar player, because you might very easily lose your motivation and self confidence.
