Traditional arrangements of Christmas carols can be really tricky to play. Simple arrangements can sound uninteresting. This book contains really great arrangements for grade 2-3 players which run beautifully under the fingers - and the sound is so good it's a book worth keeping. The only duet - Winter Wonderland - is hugely fun for friends to play together. My pupils are always motivated by these pieces. Very impressed.
I'm not great with jazzed up versions of beautiful traditional carols (e.g. Coventry Carol & Quem Pastores) - but that is just my own preference. I'd still recommend this book.
