great range of tune variations and as always high quality of adaption.
Quite heavy so I might recommend buying this in the form of the two books containing 200 variations each.

Retired, semi-pro organist.
Noel's arrangements are more understated than some others. This, as he explains, avoid the congregation being led up the wrong tune. Many I've played have some lovely harmonies and, occasionally, surprising ones.
The plastic ring binding works well, even if it makes it difficult to hold and carry with other music.
I just wonder how long the plastic ring binding will last.

This is avery useful book for any church organist. All the popular traditional hymns are there and the arrangements really lift the last verse of the hymn when playing for a service. They are all very playable too - I keep it in my music case all the time now! Anonymous
