Well-written variations on well known tunes.
A cd with appropriate accompanist would have been useful. Or, the chord changes in concert.

Having studied under Paul Harvey and having played a manuscript version of the first Etude many years ago, I am now delighted to offer the opportunity to one of my own Students to study all Three Etudes. Paul Harvey is a master of composition for Clarinet and Saxophone and these 3 Etudes provide a great opportunity for performers to develop the skill of playing unnacompanied pieces, an art in itself.

I really enjoy this piece, it's well written and has the scope for my own interpretation which doesn't ruin the piece as a whole.
