This method is ideal for 5-7 year-olds. It keeps reinforcing the basics of music reading - rhythm, intervals, note-names all the while providing INTERESTING and inspiring duet parts for every piece. I've been teaching piano for 20 years and I've felt let down by other methods that failed to secure the fundamentals in my pianists, who stayed dependent on me to help them read the music. After 6 months my students are now getting confident at note and rhythm reading basic melodies. Love the companion Theory books too.
