The music is beautiful. It looks quite simple to play at first, but can be tricky in places. We'll worth the practice, though. Has become part of my daily piano routine.

easily sightread; lyrical and poignant music.
slightly repetitive in part but understandable given the title.

I really like this book and it is good value as there are so many pieces in it. At first glance, it looks quite easy, but there are many tricky parts and complicated timings that make it very interesting to play. I like to use it for advanced sight-reading practice too. I shall keep a look out for more Patrick Hawes music for solo piano. Highly recommended!

I bought this music book as I really liked the piece "Stargazer". This piece is the most technically difficult with 5 sharps, but all the other pieces in the book are far simpler to play - mostly in the treble clef too - which makes it easier. The whole book is very relaxing and peaceful - very rewarding playing it as you can create quite a lot of feeling.

What a lovely book of piano music. Nice to think that someone is still writing decent music that is tuneful
