This is an excellent publication. I bought it because it includes an alternative piece for Grade 7 in the ABRSM syllabus. The piece is a gem and I am sure my pupils will enjoy learning it. I am enjoying playing through all the other pieces in the book as well. Anonymous

I bought this book as I am learning a selection of songs from the book for a Diploma in Piano. There is an excellent selection of pieces in a good arrangement and format. Gershwin works with a lot of chords (sometimes using all your fingers) so if you struggle with this it might not be the book for you.In terms of skill level stated (6-8) I would say the book is towards the higher end of the scale but if you're looking for a challenge then it could be for you. Overall, an excellent buy. Anonymous

I bought this book as I am playing The Man I Love for Grade 8 piano exam. It has a short history of George Gershwin and his brother Ira at the beginning of the book, which is really interesting.
A great book with lots of popular pieces to work through.

Good arrangements of lovely songs. Set for grade 7 piano, so I'll have to work at some of them! Anonymous

Great works of Gershwin, really nice to play, plenty to work on, only wished it had summertime in there though, would be a good addition. Anonymous
