Spiral binding essential for such a thick book. Very good selection of carols and related Christmas music.
I bought the book specifically for the piano music, however, the large separation of bass and treble staves on some pieces made reading the music a little difficult.

        Classic arrangements
Spiral bound edition is great for playing accompaniment
It is a bit expensive compared to the paperback version

        Musicroom Reviews

A fantastic compilation of arrangements of both well-known and lesser-known carols; mostly for SATB+Piano/Organ, some SSAATTBB and others. It's worth paying the extra £3 for the spiral bound version - the "normal" binding doesn't open out flat enough (as it's quite a thick book) to use on a music stand. Very good quality (I definitely can't see the print through pages as the previous review); everything you need for a choral Christmas.

Bitterly disappointed at the quality of this book. For the price I'd expect at least 80gram paper. This is just a step up from toilet paper. The pages are so thin you can read the print in the other side which makes it not the easiest score to read, I can see my hand through it. Not sure how long it will last either. If I didn't have a concert coming up I would have returned it. This is the spiral bound edition, the glued spine version may have higher quality paper. Not worth the money by any stretch of the imagination.

I bought the spiral bound edition because my old edition of 100 CFC is falling apart. This version is also better for accompanying on piano/organ as it stays open! I was a little surprised to see an error in the index of titles and first lines as page two is clearly back to front; hence the slightly lower rating.
