Tea For Two

Books | Piano Duet

Catalogue No: UE21299
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album

Five light-hearted arrangements for piano duet! Four cheery evergreens Tea for Two; Daisy Bell (A Bicycle Built for Two); Country Gardens; I do Like to be Beside the Seaside and Stephen Foster's more reflective and contrasting Beautiful Dreamer stylishly and skillfully arranged by Mike Cornick. The duets are recorded on CD along with rehearsal tracks for primo and secondo players so useful (and fun) when practising separately. These pieces are great for musical get-togethers and would make refreshingly different concert items. They can be enjoyed by players of intermediate level and beyond

I bought Tea for Two because a copy had been given to me as a gift. The friend with whom I play duets loved it, so I bought a copy for her as a gift. They layout it excellent, truly readable, the arrangements are amusing and good fun. But the piece de resistance is the accompanying CD, which enables each of us to practice at home, as though the other were present. Good value.

Fantastic quirky arrangements of well known songs. With the play along CD, one person can play all the parts - a great practise aid when your duet partner is unavailable! It works well as flute and piano duet too! If you enjoy piano duets you'll love this.

Interesting songs with nice arrangements. The CD is particularly helpful with timing and rhythmn.

I think this was labelled Intermediate. I found it simple and indeed elementary. I was hoping for something more original in the arrangement.
