I like the ''light jazzy'' accompaniment style and it's good that a singer continues to sing an exercise along with accompaniment.
Vocal warm ups should be gradual. I would suggest to start warm up with an exercise that applies as little pressure to your voice as possible ;for example with a different vowels exercise :No 11 and No2 to help establish forward placement and to develop breathing skills .

In this book you will find some very pleasant and relaxing basic warm-ups and advanced exercises for more experienced singers. The vigorous and dynamic accompaniments help the singers to enjoy the exercises.
The exercises for advanced singers could be more difficult.
