There are 11 songs in total ranging from three Garden songs, through two acutely observed “pub” songs to the downright rude “Fair Phyllis” and “Uncle Arthur’s Harmonium”. They are all written with cabaret performance in mind and work a treat.
“The Conductor” and “Let’s Have a Party” both have the composer’s permission to insert names of people in the audience and additional verses – much to the delight of the people named.
A great set of songs and a valuable addition to any performer’s repertoire as encores.
