A welcome update to the now tired but excellent Willcocks editions

A lovely collection, including so many of the King's commissions over the past couple of decades. Some interesting Cleobury descants and reharmonisations to well-known carols that are worth exploring, which also alow for 4-part singing during descants, which many singers will welcome. It is worth comparing this publication to the two volumes of NOEL (ed. Hill, pub: Novello) which include some of the same repertoire.
