That there isn't a German version though I'd be happy to help to rectify this problem!!!

Similar good layout and presentation of earlier books in the series.
Judging from the graphics etc. this book is intended for a first year child student yet it introduces the G flat scale. (I.e. 6 flats). Under normal circumstances a student would not expect to come across pieces with this many flats until they reach grade 7 or 8 - and then only if they are unlucky!! It is akin to children in their first year of learning arithmetic or science being taught an A level maths or physics subject. Ridiculous and unnecessary!

The new edition is very loved by children, the funny creatures are very nice. The book is just as the first three a winner. It's a pity that in Holland you can only get the first two in translation so I translated 3 and 4 for my pupils, using the older version.
Hope translations in dutch will be coming soon.
