A brilliant book of songs from 1884 to 2006 we all know. The styles are everything from nostalgic to pop and rock. There is a story about the songs in the book next to the music which gives a very interesting understanding about them, the times they were written and people who wrote them. There are black and white photos of the singers and writers throughout the book. The music is in easy keyboard melody with chords. Money well spent and very delighted with book, especially as Music Room despatched it within a day! Highly recommended.

It does what it says on the description. It has loads of great songs in single line melody which are perfect for those who have some knowledge of harmony. If you havent you can still enjoy and use your imagination to improvise. Very good value and excellent speed of service

Great selection of songs which bring back lots of memories - it's a pity it can't be used for the piano.

The Great British Song Book is an excellent inexpensive album of favourite songs. No matter what your taste is in popular music you will find a lot of your favourites listed. The quality of the book is excellent with semi glossy paper throughout, which is easy to read and strong enough to stand the constant page turning. I highly recommend this book to any budding musician at any level of proficiency.

Good selection of early to mid twentieth century tunes. It was spoilt by the binding; how do they expect anyone to play an instrument reading from a book which falls shut as soon as you let go. A spiral binding would be better.

Great song selection. Only treble clef score no bass clef. Also, songbook is so thick and not spiral bound so difficult to use on the piano.
