ITS NO WHAT IT CLAIMS TO BE. A LARGE PRINT BOOK.

I put large print music books into google, and this came up , so I ordered, and was really disappointed when i opened it.

Have you arranged my refund yet? I hope so.

        Thanks.

This is an excellent tutor for adult beginners - I am using it with my two adult beginners at the moment. the CD backing tracks with jazzy rhythms etc make the early exercises much more enjoyable. The only question I would have is why semi quavers are only introduced right at the end of the book (when early theory books introduce them at the beginning)

I am using this Tutor book for the first time with a nineteen year old absolute beginner. I think it is great! It ticks all the right boxes for both of us. I like it because it teaches right hand then left hand separately before progressing to both hands together. My pupil likes it mainly because of the accompanying CD. It gives him the opportunity to listen and then correct - obviously teach to attempt before listening.

Excellent book for adults. Easy to follow and progress is rapid. Only one criticism - a few suggestions in the book are perhaps a little childish for adults. However I would highly recommend this book.

This is a really useful book for the older beginner who wants to learn fast. My one criticism is that not all the historical information is accurate - a shame in an otherwise brilliant book.

This is an excellent book for the older adult beginner. It has a comprehensive collection of pieces which appeal to the more mature student.

I find this particularly good for older beginners. I teach in two high schools, so I use it frequently. Its main virtue is that it moves forward in easy steps. My only real criticism is that the print is somewhat small. Otherwise - pretty good.

For an adult learning to play the piano this book is proving excellent. A slow, but not too slow, start to ease you into it. The accompany CD really helps with the timing and challenges you to play alongside other music. Really enjoying learning using this book/CD and would therefore, highly recommend!

This is a brilliant book for adult beginners. I purchased it as an aid to teach my first adult pupil and am so impressed. It is very easy to understand, without being patronising in the least and guides the adult from absolute beginnings, to around grade 2 in very easy stages. The CD which accompanies this book is a real asset in training the learner listen for the beat and to play along with some fun tunes. It helps make the early exercises, when only one or two notes are used, great fun and much less tedious! Throughout the book are little snippets of musical history, 'top tips' and notes to build up a fact file. I strongly recommend this book.
