Spanish pianist, teacher and composer Enrique Granados was one of the founders of the modern school of Piano music in Spain and wrote many pieces for the instrument. These 'Stories of the Young' provide a contrasted collection of lyrical movements and lively, spirited pieces
Ten lovely lyrical and characterful short pieces that range from about grade 3/4 to 7. Would certainly appeal to adults as well as children. This edition is also good - clear and with helpful fingerings.
If you like these, you might also like Prokofiev's Children's Music, Op. 65, and Bloch's Enfantines - again, neither of these should be thought of as only for children! Anonymous

I am a very late starter to the piano, my teacher is very impressed with this book as it takes you a bit further with shorter pieces. Anonymous
