- I bought the book for my great niece whose mother is teaching her to play the piano (she is not a teacher). I was looking to buy the next book in the series of Fanny Waterman books but there seemed not to be a Book 3 and so this was the next best thing. This book, as the other two,
is very well constructed and clear to interpret. It builds on the skills learnt in Books 1 and 2 and in the case of my niece interests and encourages her to want to sit down and play.
- I have not heard any bad points from my niece. She finds it easy to teach her daughter, despite having limited pianistic skills and she too is impressed with the way in which her daughter's interest remains engaged with the books.
