The notes are all there. (Mostly.)
In need of editing. The notes in the SATB staves are disposed like a keyboard reduction and the underlay isn't clear, with unhelpful slurs, etc. Possibly this is what Darke's manuscript looks like (unlikely though!) but in any case I don't see much need for an Urtext of a piece like this. A waste of rehearsal time dictating what syllables go where after forking out for new copies.

The price. The possibility of getting this carol without having to buy expensive carol books which contain lots of things we don't want.
It's a little frustrating to have to turn back for verses rather than have a linear progression.

This is a lovely arrangement for a four part choir and doesn't appear in any of the "Carols for Choirs" books. It's quite simple to get the hang of and has a nice alto line (I'm an alto!)

Perfect for our amateur choir, most who can't read music, but well within our capabilities. A beautiful arrangement.
