A super piece, really well written. Tenors and basses start on their bottom Fsharp which always produces interesting tuning (!). All the parts sub-divide. You need first tenors who can make a good sound on their top Gsharps and As and basses need to be quite agile as Cherubim. A big dynamic range and rich textures. An excellent alternative to 'Faire is the heaven'.

Fabulous piece of music. Unaccompanied so challenging for that reason but doable by a competent choir. Wonderful effect.
