There are lots of fun easy to play tunes in this book. It works well with a combination of easy to play tunes. Teaching from this to a seven year old and this one is her favourite.

Simple layout so, as a teacher, you can talk about the content without lots of theory on the page.

A child can learn very quickly and easily from this book. From crotchets to quavers, sharps to flats and hands together. Although aimed for a child I have used this for adults and they too enjoyed learning in this way before progressing to a more adult book.
A little old fashioned now perhaps for some children although the ones I have taught haven't said anything.

Brilliant book - have used it for years, for both children and adults. Everyone is so pleased with their progress throughout the book.

Excellent book for beginners - I still remember it over 20 years on when I first started learning the piano. The first piece being about C-D-E and the second about C-B-A. Hopefully it will be just as good for the next generation of budding pianists! Excellently packaged and arrived swiftly and in perfect condition - thank you!

This is the best beginner piano book out there!! It progresses fairly quickly so students are learning something new nearly every week but don't feel overloaded with information. The pieces are extremely enjoyable especially from the middle to the end. The book spans over 2 years so is value for money. This is ideal for ages 7-11. Brilliant!!!
