Full of exercises specifically aimed at trombone technique, especially slurring v. legato and alternative slide positions. Useful narrative, both for students and non-specialist brass teachers. There are not many books on the market of this type.
Not for the faint-hearted! I use with grade 5-8 students. Not a very 'melodic' book.

          Musicroom Reviews

Excellent book for familiarising with alternative positions. Focuses on the different aspects of playing legato and also encourages better breath control. For the discerning student who wishes to progress from intermediate to more advanced. Also very useful for the non specialist trombone teacher.
