Barnsely GB amateur pianist trying hard
        Has everything exlpained clearly
It is a compact very full book. In order to use it you need to open it and have it stay open - it doesn't, it is too thick to open and stay open, too thick to stand on the music stand of the piano, you can't hold it with one hand and work with the other obviously! This book would be wonderful if it were spiral bound so that you could actually USE it in the way the author wants you to. Very poor design, very disappointed.

Lots of variety in the pieces, good for absolute beginners but only the last few pieces were a challenge to me. Well laid out.
Very difficult to control the book on the piano as the binding is very tight would be better ring bound so that it would lie flat. Also difficult to judge the difficulty of the pieces just from the description.

Excellent no nonsense book for the more mature learner. One minor quibble - it's a small, thick book and doesn't stay open on the music stand very easily. If you can get the normal (big) version, do so.

Fab book. I know how to read music and play piano with my right hand, just needed some guidance on the left hand. Really simple to follow and become more proficient.

What an excellent beginners book for playing the piano! Within days I played tunes that I knew, and for once I enjoyed every minute. If you want a book to inspire than look no further.

Livre intéressant, car non seulement il contient des informations pour les débutants au clavier, mais aussi de très nombreuses partitions de morceaux sympathiques à jouer.

Very good series as it gets you playing well known tunes immediately. Only draw back is that it's a bit too thick to keep open on a music stand

Excellent book, covers everything you need to get you going and explains everything well for a beginer. Price is good for a compact edition but I do wish it was available in A4 size too. This would fit on the music stand/piano easier and save me having to pick it up and down all the while. I would be more than happy to pay more for it in the A4 size as Very Good book.
