I am 83.
I cannot really answer the questions with any authority as I am a complete beginner and have not yet reached book 3.
None that I can see.

As a music teacher of some 50 years standing I can honestly say that this is the best learning course for adults that I have ever come across.
I do believe that pedalling should have been introduced by this level. This is not just my view. I know of no other tutorials, even for children, that leave it so late in a course. It does improve the enjoyment of music so much more.

Books 1 and 2 were both easy to follow with each step being explained simply. The tunes are varied and popular making these very good books for adults. I was a complete novice but am now looking forward to starting Book 3. Anonymous

This whole series is very good - encouraging, but challenging. It really needs patience to master the tunes, but there is a variety, so you don't need to hammer at the same piece day after day. Anonymous

I am using this series with adults who are learning the piano with no other musical knowledge. It covers everything in an easy to understand foremat and uses well known classical and popular music. Anonymous
