Crediton, Devon. GB Adult beginner learning cello.
Book 3 follows smoothly on from Book 2, enabling student fluid progression.
Useful exercises for specific moves and to encourage quality of sound, not just manual dexterity.
        Beautiful classical pieces.
Not enough in this book! Would have liked a couple more pieces!

Some excellent pieces for playing or for practice. Alternative fingerings are useful, to reduce dependency on teacher. Several are appearing in the ABRSM syllabus.
The pictures of young children holding their cellos are not very helpful and, as an older player, I find these a bit offputting!

Great book filled with real pieces and musical etudes. The pieces are thoughtfully arranged with gradually increasing difficulty. I like it.

I already play violin and viola, so using the Suzuki books for cello has been fantastic. As I already know Bass clef, these books allow my to progress with cello without feeling patronized. The tunes are lovely, and new positions are explained with helpful pictures.

Follows on well from the other Suzuki books, works a lot on position work but i prefer the position pieces for cello book.

This book was recommended by my daughters Cello teacher, and after ordering that evening, it had arrived in time for the next Cello lesson. We were really impressed at the speed and packaging of the book.
