        Caernarfon GB Experienced piano teacher
Have used this book for many years with my new piano pupils. I start it about it alongside other starter books about 6 - 8 weeks after an initial easy book, depending on age of pupil. Good fun pieces that children enjoy. Progresses well through the keys. Good for learning chords in the left hand. Reasonable price.

excellent for younger children, I'm not sure about older pupils as i have no experience.

        Musicroom Reviews

I often use this series with my pupils as the tunes are catchy, move at a steady pace, and the layout is attractive. They always want to go on to the next book in the series when this one is finished.

The Bastien series is a fun series for young piano players. I use it as the second or third book for my pupils. The jazzy rhythms towards the end of the book is enjoyed by most pupils.

This is an easy to follow introductory book for beginners. My son has found the content to be fun, straight forward and challenging at the same time.
