- The music is presented as voice and piano, however the piano part contains the tune and so can be played without an accompanying voice. The arrangements are good, and the presentation is very clear and all the words are given, and many of the most familiar songs are included.
- The range of songs is rather limited and it would have been nice to see more of Scotland's rich heritage of songs presented. For many of the songs the piano part is rather too easy to play, so the sound is very thin
