Great anthology I work with lots of kids who sing but have different personalities and strengths vocally and the range of material in this book is great, very diverse and covers a lot of students different tastes and styles.some of the girls are keen on the more modern shows eg wicked and new releases like sister act and legally blonde so waiting for a book with more up to date songs too never the less so good we got a set

A nice selection of songs from different genres of musicals. Suits mezzo-soprano range, as described.

I would recommend this book to singers who are looking for a collection of "different" musical theatre songs. I think this collection is definitely worth buying as it has a good range of songs. There are a lot of very similar books around with the same songs in them but with this book I have not duplicated many songs which is great.

There are some great songs in this book. However they are mostly in very low keys, lower sometimes than the originals would have been for altos. At the other extreme there is the occasional piece which reaches soprano ranges. Overall though it has a nice breadth of music in it from a cross section of musicals both new and old.

Great selection of songs in the right vocal range for an alto. Fantastic value for money.

Sorry I cannot give this a top rating. I was disappointed to find that the songs for mezzo are nearly all written in keys a little too low for me. It would be best if all books/sheet music indicated the key of each song AND tessiture to prevent wasting money on internet orders, I have kept the book because of return postage charge but do not expect to be able to use it much.
