- It's out of tune. The high G is G#, not G, and the E is about 1/4 tone sharp. I guess you get what you pay for particularly if made in Pakistan or wherever.

Good afternoon Dirk, Our purchasing department has contacted the supplier Direct their response is as follows;
‘’This isn’t an issue we have come across before. The pitch of a chanter is adjustable by moving the reed up or down in the chanter. They are a fairly sensitive instrument and do take some fettling to get right- see the links below for more information.
