A wonderful suite of pieces - one I learned for my grade 7. Evocative and so beautifully harmonious. I have still a few to learn but will work my way through them. I

A lovely modern edition of these stunning poetically descriptive pieces, beautifully written for piano. While there are some technically demanding passages, nonetheless the results are both rewarding, charming and full of variety. A real must for the Intermediate player.

A delightful set of pieces which deserve to be better known. A translation of the French poems would be helpful.

Very beautiful selection of impressionist music for piano by Grovlez. Grade 7/8 standard. For the student ready to put in maturity and emotion in his/her playing. Highly recommend.

This is a very interesting collection of descriptive pieces and challenging too. Having already been familiar with one of his pieces (Le Petit Litanie de Jesus)I was slightly surprised by the nature of the others in the book but I am enjoying getting to grips with them

I love this edition... straight from the horse's mouth. I love it; at least I will have a book that will keep me occupied with great contemporary pieces. If you want L'Almanach aux Images in your repertoire, get this edition.

I already knew the first two pieces and am having great pleasure in learning the others. The beautiful 'Sarabande' is bewitching. Personally, I think the pieces are around the Grade 7 mark - a challenge for improvers and a very enjoyable experience for the more advanced pianist. The book arrived very quickly and the service is excellent. A great book to add to one's repertoire.
