Easy to follow instructor, good sound
Would have liked a pdf to study the licks away from the computer.

This is an excellent guide into the playing of some of Carlos Santana's best pieces. The only suggestion/improvement would be for there to be a little tab booklet or a pdf file with the dvd so you could see the section that you are playing as you learn them.

What would be your perfect tuition DVD? For me it would have to be well demonstrated and explained visually. Split screen for any tricky bits, maybe music/tab on screen or available to print and backing tracks so you can play along and perfect what you're trying to learn. This has very well demonstrated and explained songs - but nothing else(In fairness I don't think there's anything out there that would attain my idea of a perfect lesson, the stuff with Guitar Player magazine comes closest - but not enough film. The DvD's from Stefan Grossman's Guitar workshop are also pretty close - if you're into accoustic blues- but don't have backings that you could jam to).
