it is a stand for a classical guitar that claims to be made so it does not damage your instrument when you use it, however, the part that touches the soundboard is made from hard plastic that would scratch my instument. my guitar is french polished, not laquered, and is a quality instrument that cost a lot of money, so for me, it was not good enough.

After comparing a few portable stands for gigging I opted for this one as it folds up compactly, comes with its own bag, and is built very solidly. At first it seemed quite complex to set up, but now I can do it in my sleep. It's great for electro-acoustic players, as it tilts the instrument back enough to allow space for the cable to stay plugged in. The only slight niggle is that if the instrument was knocked back to the side it might fall over as it has the least stability in that direction. This probably wouldn't be an issue with the K&M Wave 10, but that stand is quite bulky when folded and doesn't come with a bag. Personally, I'm happy with my choice.

Cracking little stand and comes with a travel bag so when I take the guitar to my friends house, i've got a nice little stand to put it on! Good quality, recommended buy.
