Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto in G Major for violin, strings and basso continuo, Op. 3, No. 3, belongs to the repertoire of every learner of the violin, especially its first movement. This volume presents a revised edition with a new Piano reduction and a new solo part with fingering marks by Herbert Scherz.
On the CD you will find three bonus learner's tracks with slowed-down orchestral accompaniments for movements 1 and 3 as well as a slightly faster orchestral accompaniment for movement 2.
This edition was edited by the renowned violin teacher Herbert Scherz, who was active for many years as professor of the violin and its methodology at the conservatories in Lucerne and Zurich.
