mille excuses je parlais de la methode de DUKE ROBILLARD
pour ce qui de cette methode de jazz c'est tres bref mais tres dense une mine d'or pour apprendre une technique
simple et efficace pour improviser.

If you have been playing a while, I think you will understand Herb's approach pretty quicky. This book is for beginners. If you are starting out, this book is good because it's basic, simple and has music, tab AND fingering for each note! The only book I know that does this!! It starts with one or two chord formations, their arpeggios and scales, simple Blues solos and there are a couple of more sophisticated Blues at the end. It even shows you the chord formation Herb is thinking when soloing over the changes. However - the CD audio is very poor quality, it does not teach or show you comping patterns as promised on the cover, and the solos have no backing to them whatsoever, so it makes it hard to hear the changes.
