I teach age 6 to adult with this book. It teaches tab with a line of score above it in some sections and strumming chords in other sections.
Occassionally the print a little small for the 6 year olds but they still manage fine.

No explanation is given on key knowledge issues, so there are many huge assumptions unjustifiably made about the level of understanding of the person using the book. Not written in a logical, teacherly sequence.

Very easy to use at first sight, delivered very quickly

Good book if you want to learn very simple tab pieces rather than just chords. Only criticism is that on the CD there is no count in for the pieces or accompaniment - it is literally just a recording of the author playing through the excersises so you can't really use it to play along to.
