Peter Warlock: Capriol Suite

Books | Piano Duet

Catalogue No: JC99059
Composer: Peter Warlock
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album

A suite of six short movements based on dance tunes from Arbeau's Orchesographie, written for Piano Duet. Being able to play something that has been challenging me as a piano solo as a duet with a very poorly friend.

Although based on dance tunes from Arbeau's Orchesographie of 1588,this piano duet version (ie 4 hands,1 piano) is very pleasing to the modern ear. Also it is not difficult to perform. The six tunes (31 pages) represent very good value.
