A beautiful descriptive piece and doesn't cover a large range so is easy for small choirs and those with little experience to learn.

This is a beautiful song that is rarely heard niwadays. It has a haunting, gentle melody line. The harmonies are interesting but not too demanding. There is plenty of scope for dynamics to add further interest. The accompaniment is straightforward and is not intrusive.
