Piatti is a good method for anyone taking up the cello in later life who already have some musical background. I am finding it much more interesting and challenging than other methods, although it does need to be supplemented by other graded pieces.

An old favourite which still contains much attractive & tuneful material for the intermediate cellist in the form of duets. It has a systematic, key-based approach & is useful for securing all the neck positions with some use of tenor clef.
