This is great for practicing the lines and spaces and a few other introductory Music Theory concepts
The last few pages get to hard to quickly and are not useful

This book starts off really well for beginners but then jumps a few lessons and expects the pupil to have already learnt about rests. chords etc. I use this book only for the note naming, note writing, intervals and time signatures.

As a piano teacher, I have been using this old fashioned little book for years, and find its great to build up theory knowledge for the very young beginner. Its small, with an encouraging tick-box front page. A good theory starter book.
