From the Cantamus Choral series, The Water Of Tyne is arranged here by Michael Neaum for SSA Chorus and Piano.
An English folk song with no known author, The Water Of Tyne was first printed in Bell's Northern Bards, in 1812. This traditional love song is sung from the perspective of a woman separated from her lover by the Tyne river that divides the counties of Durham and Northumberland.

One of those simple(ish) but effective pieces you like to keep and recycle if you have a choir. Also good for the GCSE ensemble piece if you have 3 or so girls who need to perform. Anonymous
