Simple arrangements of well known carols. We already have fifty year old copies of these books. Delighted to find it is still available. Current version has added chord symbols and a stiffer cover,
The music is always presented as if in the key of C, even when it is actually in another key. This may not really be a bad point, it's a matter of opinion.

Some different carols to the usual well known ones. Left hand stays in one place while the right moves around for the tune.

Very nice but didn't know a lot of the tunes so didn't know how they should sound. Easy to learn though.

I think this series of books are one of the best for those approaching and of Grade 1 standard. They enable students to play simple but effective tunes quickly and easily over a wide number of genres.
