I really liked it. It was mainly easy to read and understandable except the beginning though, I think if the beginning part where it explains how to read the notes was easier, this book would be a wonderful guide.

If you are a metallica-fan and a complete beginner in playing guitar, then get this book. BUT you also need a REAL method for playing guitar because some techniques needed to play the isolated riffs, intro's and bridges like they sound on the enclosed audio are not discussed. For instance, muting with the palm or left-hand mutes to keep the other strings quiet.
This book doesn't teach you any special techniques needed to play the real versions of the metallica-songs. So again, also lay your hands on a real method for metal-guitar.
