Ten great contemporary Love Songs in melody line arrangements by Simon Lesley with specially recorded backing tracks included on the CD. These new pop tunes from the past ten years sound absolutely fantastic when played on the vivacious Violin, while you will sound even better with the instrumental backing tracks.

These brilliant pop tunes were performed by some of the most popular artists of the early Millennium. Featuring Evergreen by Will Young, Emotion by Destiny's Child and the amazing What If, sung by Kate Winslet, these excellent songs all made their impact on the charts in the early 2000s. If you've ever wanted to play a song like Hero by Enrique Iglesias on the Violin, with Guest Spot, you can. Not only can you learn these top Love Songs of the past few years, you'll also be able to perform them for your nearest and dearest, who will no doubt appreciate your fresh new take on these familiar romantic songs.

Not only can you learn from the sheet music within this book, you can also listen to the CD, which features full performance versions of every song that also omits the instrumental part, allowing you to play along with some professionally recorded accompaniments. This will make sure you sound even better when you're serenading your sweetheart with a classical-pop rendition of Whole Again, or a Violin version of Robbie Williams' Eternity. Even with the pedigree of love songs already out there, these modern ones prove that great ballads can still be written.

If you want to learn to play and perform ten really great contemporary love songs by some of the best pop artists of the early 2000s, look no further than this New Love Songs Playalong For Violin collection, allowing you to learn the songs then play along!
